Most of you know Vint Cerf as one of the fathers of the internet, as well as vice president and Chief Internet Evangelist for Google.
But Vint Cerf is also the co-founder of Innovations For Jobs, together with i4j CEO, David Nordfors. 
​The 2018 Innovation for jobs summit is focused on understanding how people bring value to our society and our economy. Historically we've only measured this value by their financial contributions -GDP, GNI, etc. As David [Nordfors] has pointed out, there are other metrics of value that we should include in our assessment of people's place and utility in our society.

​Innovation for Jobs, or shortly I4J, is a non-profit organization headquartered at SRI International in Menlo Park, California, and founded by Vint Cerf, also known as one of the fathers of the internet, and David Nordfors, who is also i4j's CEO. 
 
The 2018 i4j summit theme was:
People-Centered Economy:
An Eco-System for the Future of Work.

 
The i4j Summits are, as their founders say, exclusive-inclusive. That is, participation is by personal invitation only, yet the summit is informal, personal, friendly and specially designed for interaction. There are no keynote speakers, for everybody is both speaker and participant.
